October performer: Bob Bryant, professional musician, educator, and band leader from Lexington, Kentucky. He has a discography approaching 500 projects, 5 European tours including the Montreux Jazz festival, and known as one of the best bassist in the bluegrass with stints the likes of Bela Fleck, the Smothers Bros, Cal Collins, Tommy Emmanuel, Al Hurt, and countless more. Bob will be exploring the sounds of the bass. How low can he go!!

Meet a Musician gives families and their children a chance to interact with Central Kentucky artists. Musicians will perform a selection of their work in a cozy library setting. They will talk to children about music in terms they will understand, and explain their instruments to the kids. Children can experiment with instruments, or make their own craft instruments to take home. While the program may be most suitable for children 6 and up, younger ones are welcome to come and groove along.
