Chess Mates is a drop-in club for beginners to advanced players. Basic lessons, snacks and pick-up games are offered. For ages 8-up. Sponsored by Friends of the Library.
Learners will discover how to effectively navigate in Windows 8. Participants tour the Start screen and experiment with touch gestures, live tiles, and charms. This workshop also shows how to work efficiently with snap and keyboard shortcuts. Prerequisite: Explore PC Basics

Come to the Dinosaur Club at the Village Branch to participate in all kinds of fun dinosaur activities! This program will be most enjoyed by children between the ages of 5 and 12.
Open lab time to work on job search skills, resume or cover letter writing skills, and job applications with computer teachers present to answer questions.
