How do I know when my hold is in?

When your hold arrives at the designated pickup location, you will be notified via mail, telephone, or email.  (To change your notification method, contact us.)  To check for arrived holds, log into your account and click the Holds link in the Account menu.  Items that are ready for pickup will display a status of Arrived.

Please remember that our Holds Policy states:

  • Items can be placed on hold for 7 days and 15 items maximum.
  • Holds not picked up in 7 days will be re-shelved, and customers will be charged $1 per item not picked up.
  • Cancel or suspend a hold in your online account or by contacting us.
  • Unclaimed holds prohibit customers from enjoying library materials.
