Wee Reader Instructions

  • Recommended for children from birth to 2 years of age.
  • Starting the day you pick up your childs reading log, check off each activitiy on the log as you complete it with your child.
  • Return the completed form by July 31, 2009, and be entered into a drawing for parents to win a dinner for two.
  • NOTE: You can’t get prizes the same day you sign-up.

Read-With-Me Instructions

  • Recommended for children who are not yet reading, or are having problems reading on their own.
  • Starting the day you pick up your Read-With-Me Reading and Activity Log, color in the paint blobs as you read for 15 minutes or do an activity.
  • Bring your completed folder to the library.
  • Pick out a free book of your choice.
  • NOTE: You can’t get prizes the same day you sign-up.

  • Starting the day you pick up this reading log, read anything you like — books, magazines, newspapers, even listen to audio books & Playaways.
  • Read a little bit each day.
  • Keep track of how much time you spend reading (you can pick up a reading log at any library location).
  • When you’ve read 15 hours, bring this reading log into the Library for a free book of your choice.

  • Read a little bit each day.

  • List books you read on the back of your reading log.
  • Fill up your reading log by reading for 15 hours.
  • Pick out a free book of your choice.

Adult Reader Instructions

  • Anyone 18 and over.
  • Read books from the categories listed on the bingo card.
  • Record the book titles/authors.
  • Score horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
  • Return cards to any location, and pick up a prize (while supplies last).
  • Fill out entry slip for a chance to win more prizes.
  • Play again (with the same card, or a different one).

  • One book of your choice
  • A prize bag including coupons to local attractions
  • Entry form for a chance to win larger prizes.

To enter, just complete your reading goal for the Wee Reader, Read-To-Me, Reader, or Teen reading programs. When you finish your first goal and fill up your reading log, ask for an extra log for more chances to win one of the great Prize Giveaway items!
