What are Library databases and how do I access them?

Library databases contain information that may not be accessible via Internet search engines, including newspaper and magazine articles, business information, genealogical records, and educational resources.  These are fee-based services that are made available to you at no charge as a Lexington Public Library cardholder.

The complete list of Library databases can be found here.  All databases are accessible inside Lexington Public Library locations, and many are also accessible remotely with your library card number and PIN.

Note:  You must have a valid Lexington Public Library card to access our digital collections.
