In the Footsteps of Daniel Boone

2019 is the 250th anniversary of Daniel Boone's first excursion through the Cumberland Gap into Kentucky in 1769. Author Randell Jones will share an engaging presentation on the life and times of Daniel Boone, including some episodes perhaps lesser-known to many Kentuckians.  Presented by the Lexington History Museum.

Randell Jones has received numerous book awards including the national History Award Medal from the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, and two Kentucky History Awards from the Kentucky Historical Society.
