eff Hoagland, Lexington native filmmaker and writer, and The Lexington History Museum (LexHistory) are proud to debut five new multimedia projects as part of “Intersections: 250 Years of Lexington History,” part of the Mayor’s 250Lex Commission. The five projects explore - and celebrate - the complexities of Lexington as a home, a setting, and a character in the stories of its residents including jazz legend Les McCann, civil rights activist and lawyer RCO Benjamin, and Ashland resident Charlotte Dupuy.Over 25 Kentucky-based collaborators contributed to the suite of stories including Melinda Beck, Terrisha Buckely, Maya Brown, Erica Denise, Samar Jade, Michelle Tyrene Johnson, LafeSpace, Maya McCutchen, Keith McGill, Alphaeus Green, III, Stonecastle Films, LLC, Brandon Turner, and VR Together.
