Are you curious about animals from Australia or Butterflies? Maybe you want to learn more about dinosaurs or puppet-making. In each Curious Crafting session we will explore a new topic, read a book, and make a craft to take home! 

Many people enthusiastically plant in the spring but miss the opportunity to maximize their harvest with succession planting. We will cover which crops are best suited to fall production and the pitfalls of summer planting. Many crops actually perform better as a fall crop than in spring.

Teens will get hands-on experience, try new flavors, and have fun cooking together. For middle and high schoolers. Registration required.

Join us for an evening of music and creativity at the library! The Song Farmers, a local collective of talented musicians, are inviting everyone to sing, play, and enjoy popular tunes together. Bring your favorite craft project or try one of the fun craft activities we’ll provide while you listen, sing along, or even pick up an instrument and join the band!

Are you interested in enhancing your Spanish speaking abilities? If so, we would like to invite you to our weekly group meeting. Our friendly group is open to everyone who wants to practice speaking Spanish in a supportive and welcoming environment. This presentation with Melissa Smith of the LFUCG Health Department is for informational purposes only and to provide a forum for individuals currently taking a GLP-1 medication under the care of their healthcare provider or those who want to learn more about the medication to make more informed healthcare decisions. Medication will not be provided or prescribed.

We will learn how to recognize AI-generated media and spot possible deepfakes. Through challenges and discussions, we will explore ethical issues and how to be responsible digital citizens.
