John Stempel is Senior Professor of International Relations at UK’s Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce. He also served 23 years in the U. S. Foreign Service, which included running US Information Agency Libraries in Burundi, Iran and India.  He has just completed 14 years service on the University Press of Kentucky Review Board.
