Okay, so I only went around part of the world... Yesterday, I took a trip around Lexington to visit some of the international stores that call our community home. Are you looking for some authentic jerk seasoning for babecue season? Would you like some fresh, homemade pita bread for your hummus? How about some rice cooking wine for that asian creation? Happy African-American History Month! Every February we celebrate the rich history and important contributions African-Americans have made to the growth of our nation. I have a few suggestions for ways to celebrate in Lexington.

Wow! It has been a busy start to the year for me! I am currently in charge of three great programs and they have kept me on the run. On Tuesdays I teach a Spanish for Beginners class. It is great to see people from all walks of life meeting every week to learn another language so they can communicate a little better with their neighbors.
