How do I see how many requests there are on an item?

Once you select a title and are viewing it's description the number of current requests as well as the total number of check outs are visible just above the branch availability area.

 

How do I check my reserve list?

To check your reserve list, log in to your account, and click the "REQUESTS" link. There you can find all items on your reserve list, each item's status, and your position in the hold list.

How do I find what number I am on the reserve list for an item?

To find your position in the reserve list for an item, log in to your account, and click the "REQUESTS" link. Your position in the list is listed to the right of the item. A number indicates the number of reserves before yours; when your reserve comes in, it will say “You are next".

How do I place a reserve on an item?

To place a reserve on an item, search for the item in the catalog, and from the list of results, click the particular item you'd like to reserve. Once on the item screen, click the "Request" button underneath the item image.

On the Hold Request screen choose the location where you'd like to pick up your item.

Click on the Submit Request button to enter your request.

How will I know when my reserved item is in?

When your reserve item arrives at the pickup branch, you will receive notification either via mail or e-mail (to sign up for e-mail notification, call 231-5530). To check for arrived items through the catalog, log in to your account,and click the "REQUESTS" link. Items that are ready for pickup will have a status of "Arrived".

I cannot access my account information with my library card number and PIN.

There are a number of reasons this may occur. First, when typing in the library card number, use only the 13 digits and no surrounding letters. Second, if you are not sure of your PIN, remember that the default PIN is the last four digits of your phone number.

What internet browsers work with your catalog system?

Currently we recommend using at least Internet Explorer 6, Firefox 2 or Safari 3. Newer versions of these browsers have also been tested and work. If you are having problems using an older browser we recommend you upgrade to the latest version.

If you are still having problems and are using one of these browsers. Please try to delete your temporary internet files and clear your browser cache. Here are some instructions on how to do that with each of these browsers.

What is my PIN?

By default, your PIN is the last four digits of your phone number.
