How will I know when my reserved item is in?

When your reserve item arrives at the pickup branch, you will receive notification either via mail, telephone, or e-mail. (To change your notification method, call 231-5500.) To check for arrived items through the catalog, log in to your account, and click on the "Holds" link in the left column. Items that are ready for pickup will have a status of "Arrived”.

Please remember that our Holds Policy states:

Items may be placed on hold at any branch of the Lexington Public Library. Your default holds location is the location where you originally signed up for your library card.

Items can be placed on hold for 7 days and 15 items maximum.
Holds not picked up in 7 days will be re-shelved and customers will be charged $1 per item not picked up.
Cancel or suspend a hold in your Online Library Account or by phone, 231-5500.
Unclaimed holds prohibit customers from enjoying library materials
