Below we have provided a list to several of the awards that are given out each year.


Robert F. Sibert Informational Book Award The Sibert Medal is given by the American Library Association to the author (including co-authors and author-illustrators) of the most distinguished informational book published during the preceding year. See The List
Spur Awards The Spur Award is an annual literary prize awarded by the Western Writers of America. Founded in 1953 with only four categories (western novel, historical novel, juvenile and short story), the award today has expanded to include 16 categories in both fiction and non-fiction.
