The best way to never get lost in the wilderness, is to have good land navigation skills. In this class we will show you the basics of utilizing a compass, and the basics of reading a map, and then we'll put the two together. We will investigate natural navigation with moon, stars, and planets. This class will be led by Craig Caudill from the Nature Reliance School.

Get Wild About Your Life

In Wild, Cheryl Strayed finds resolution to her chaotic life by hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. Her perspective on herself and her life trajectory are shaped by adventure, fear, and being far out of her element. That is often the view we have of getting perspective and resolution in our lives. We can only obtain them at the completion of a life-changing trek.

Women's Safety and Self Defense

Safety and Self Defense is a personal decision. How much do you want to sacrifice your personal freedoms to insure your protection? How violently can you react to violence initiated against you? Many of the precautions we should take are common sensical. We either don’t think to do them or we elect not to, because it crimps our lifestyle. In this program, AKF Lexington Martial Arts will provide a fun, safe, and valuable opportunity for women and girls aged 12 and up to take steps to ensure personal safety. Registration recommended.
