Classical Music Sundays presents live classical music the third Sunday of every month, September through May, with EKU music professor Bernardo Scarambone as emcee.
First, we'll learn about Henrietta Lacks and the ways in which she contributed to modern medical research. Then we'll do some research ourselves using chemistry and biology to extract DNA from strawberries! Dress for mess! Ages 12+

February is Black History Month, so we will celebrate with an "African American Cookbook Edition"! African American Cuisine, often called Soul Food, has a rich heritage with its roots in the rural South and the culinary innovations of traditional West African dishes. Members can choose a recipe from one of the African American cookbooks provided or use their own recipe to contribute a dish.
