In this hands-on Botanical Printing workshop, we’ll explore the beauty blooming all around us and learn how to turn common spring plants into natural works of art. You’ll start with simple plant identification focusing on easily recognized, abundant blooms and leaves you can confidently gather in your own backyard.

Let us build creative confidence, reduce waste, and support a healthier system for our environment.

Please bring your clean ready for recycling materials, and we will “upcycling” and repurpose the materials together.

We will focus on projects with toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, egg cartons, CD discs, and glass jars. 

Visit us weekly for gardening tips and to get advice for your gardening problems! Master Gardeners will also provide free seeds, plants, resources.

Instructor from REACH will teach the essentials of credit and its role in your personal finances.

Herbs are usually what give many of our favorite foods their characteristic taste, like the boldness of a pasta sauce or the depth of a savory soup or stew. Generally, these ingredients add to the dish by providing a new dimension of flavor.

Keven McQueen is a Senior Lecturer in the English Department at EKU and the author of 27 books on history, biography, the paranormal, and historical true crime. He will be sharing stories from his book, Creepy Kentucky, with an audience Q & A to follow.

This month, we’re making mie goreng - a delicious Indonesian stir-fried noodle dish - in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. For ages 7–12. Registration required.

The weekly classes will be informal and guided by a moderator.  EVERYONE is welcome - ANY native language, ANY English level.
