Join us for a book discussion on the Community Reads selection for 2025, Happiness Falls by Angie Kim. Join the experienced instructors from Kentucky Refugee Ministries for an informative and free citizenship class designed to assist individuals on their path to naturalization. This class is open to all participants who have held a Green Card for a minimum of 4 years and 9 months.

Join Northside staff and learn to make a simple, traditional Cathedral Windows quilt. Make one block each month and you will make a finished small quilt or throw by the end of 12 months! Fabric and sewing tools provided while supplies last. Prerequisites: you must already be able to thread a needle and hand sew a straight stitch and a slip stitch. Please register if you plan to attend.

Around the World is a book challenge for people who want to join a book club, but want to choose what books they read, based on the selected country each month. Share about your book at our meeting! Choose a book by an author from the chosen country, or with a setting in that country. Registration requested.

Bring your sketchbook and favorite art supplies for a chilled out afternoon of creating art! We'll have music, guided exercises to get your creativity flowing, and a supportive environment for learning. Fight art block, make connections, improve your drawings, or just come hang out to relax!

Looking to get involved with the library, or want to earn volunteer credits in a safe, affirming space? Join our Teen Advisory Board, and you can contribute to the library! Help us design programs, choose books to purchase, and even pick this month's outfit for the goose. 

 After the library closes, the building will be a laser tag battleground. For ages 13+.

Celebrate 45 years of Pac-Man with us at the library! Join us for a fun-filled event where we’ll dive into the history of this iconic arcade game, exploring its impact on gaming and pop culture. Then, test your skills as we play the classic Pac-Man game.

Tweens & teens ages 12+ can stop by the Northside Branch to create a trophy out of upcycled cups and glasses! We'll use hot glue and a variety of art supplies to make it completely customized.

Chess club meets the first and third Tuesday of the month from 3:30-4:30pm.

Get ready to mix, bake, and enjoy delicious foods from around the world! This month we will make mandu, dumplings in Korean cuisine. Registration required. For Tweens (8-12).
