Beginning English classes are held twice weekly to help participants improve English language reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.  Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Classes and class materials are free to everyone. Participants can practice their new skills at any of our ESOL conversation group meetings. Questions: Email abell@lexpublib.org.

Tates Creek Branch - Large Meeting Room

We'll be taking inspiration from the classic and beloved Reading Rainbow program, remixing those literacy lessons for teens! So hop on in for a session centering LGBTQIA+ stories (and don't be afraid to let the Reading Rainbow theme song get stuck in your head).

This program is for teen participants (15+). All participants are asked to wear their favorite color!

Participants will read a book and then use edible milk paint to decorate their toast with all of the colors of the rainbow! Recommended for preschoolers and their caregivers. 

White bread and 2% milk with food coloring will be provided.
