Join Northside staff and learn to make a simple, traditional Cathedral Windows quilt. Make one block each month and you will make a finished small quilt or throw by the end of 12 months! Fabric and sewing tools provided while supplies last. Prerequisites: you must already be able to thread a needle and hand sew a straight stitch and a slip stitch. Please register if you plan to attend.

The weekly classes will be informal and guided by a moderator.  EVERYONE is welcome - ANY native language, ANY English level. After a 7 question "At Risk Assessment", BLDP will allow the participant to take an A1C diabetes screening which provides a score that reflects the average amount of blood sugar (glucose) for the last 3 months. Results are not dependent on what the participant just had to eat or drink, so no need to fast before the program. 

Practice your English speaking skills in a group meeting every week. In this casual class we will practice & improve your English. Intermediate English listening comprehension, reading practice & conversation with an emphasis on cultural topics. For adults. Registration not required. FALL CLASSES BEGIN AUGUST 11.

Join instructors from Kentucky Refugee Ministries for this free citizenship class. Student must be a Green Card holder for at least 4 years and 9 months. No registration required. *NOTE class will begin meeting on Wednesday evenings beginning February 28, 2024.
