I am a retired electrical engineer after 32 years working at IBM / Lexmark in various areas of the business and as a manager of employees in Lexington and the Philippines. I received my electrical engineering Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky. After retirement, I utilized my first Bachelor of Science in mathematics from George Peabody College in Nashville as a teacher of mathematics and volunteered at Carnegie Literacy Center and Homework Help with the Lexington Public Library. I have also volunteered in many capacities at St. Raphael Episcopal Church. I am currently the treasurer and leader of the finance committee.

I am a member of the League of Women Voters. I work at functions to educate people about voting, especially young people that have never voted. I belong to the Observer Corps, part of the League, and monitor and report on the Lexington Transit Authority to encourage information and transparency between our Civic Boards and the citizens in Lexington.

I have been fortunate to travel extensively for work and pleasure. With a daughter in LA and now a son and family in Portland ME, there will be many trips across the US. My husband Dave and I have always enjoyed international travel with friends and family. We hope to continue this. I love to read, have lunch with friends, play my piano, work on a jigsaw puzzle, and exercise.
