Destination Kindergarten

Destination Kindergarten is the library’s program aimed at preschoolers and their caregivers- trying to help them practice the skills they need to be ready for Kindergarten.  During each Destination Kindergarten event, preschoolers and their caregivers can find a specalized area in the library with fun books, take-home activities, and information about development milestones and school readiness.

Drop off your old board games at the Beaumont Branch to receive a ticket to swap out for a game on the day of the event! One ticket per game.  

Bring your old games in any day prior to the event, starting May 1st, and receive one ticket per game. “Shop” for your swapped game on June 15th to redeem your tickets! Participants may take one game per ticket.

Attend an informational meeting to learn more about the library's new self-paced online construction trades learning program. Application process will be discussed. Registration required.

The library will host an informational meeting to unveil its new self-paced online construction trades learning initiative to the Lexington community.  The learning platform will be available in English and Spanish. Ideal for those 18 years and above with a high school diploma/GED.

Application information will be available for attendees.  There is no cost associated with this learning program.
