The Marksbury Family Branch Makerspace, located at 2197 Versailles Road, is an inclusive space where customers of all ages can come to learn, create, and explore together, free of charge. Outfitted with current high-tech and low-tech tools, the Makerspace is designed to promote education and cultivate a do-it-yourself spirit for the whole family. Customers ages 13-17 are required to complete the Experiential Learning Agreement with their guardian. Children 12 and under may use equipment under supervision of a responsible caregiver who has signed the agreement. Speak with a staff member at the Makerspace for more information.

Supplies like buttons and PLA filament are available to purchase from staff in the Marksbury Family Branch Makerspace. Equipment like the Cricut Maker, sewing machines, and embroidery machine may be used with your own materials free of charge. Please check with a Makerspace staff member for more details before bringing in materials and using the equipment.
Customers ages 13 and up who have completed the Experiential Learning Agreement and live in Fayette County or a reciprocal county receive an $8 credit each month for material purchases. If you exceed this credit, you can still purchase additional supplies using credit or by tapping to pay.
