Sensory play and crafts that are inclusive, autism-friendly, and fun for everyone! Activities are designed for children with a developmental age of approximately 2-5 years. ALL children are welcome! For questions or accommodation requests, please contact the Beaumont Branch.

Not an artist? Not a problem! We'll provide the art supplies; you provide the creativity during this open art program. Come paint your art work inspired by Chinese ink-wash painting. Recommend for 5-12 years old, dress for mess please.

After laying to rest common myths about Kentucky’s ancient Native peoples, Dr. Gwynn Henderson from the Kentucky Archaeological Survey will review high points in central Kentucky's Native history prior to the arrival of non-Native people.

Watercolor painting club with a lesson each month suitable for beginners, dilettantes, and anyone who just wants to hang out and paint with us. We will be following a series of tutorials that start with the basics at our first meeting and build on those skills with each class that follows. Registration required so I will be able to purchase enough supplies for everyone.
Founded on the belief that music knows no boundaries, the Lexington Good Days Choir will present traditional Chinese songs and music in celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
Around the World is a book challenge for people who want to join a book club, but want to choose what books they read, based on the selected country each month. Share about your book at our meeting! Choose a book by an author from the chosen country, or with a setting in that country. Registration requested.

Join Northside staff and learn to make a simple, traditional Cathedral Windows quilt. Make one block each month and you will make a finished small quilt or throw by the end of 12 months! Fabric and sewing tools provided while supplies last. Prerequisites: you must already be able to thread a needle and hand sew a straight stitch and a slip stitch. Please register if you plan to attend.
