Are you curious about how to create landscapes that support beneficial insects, including pollinators and natural pest predators? We will discuss the latest research and key principles in backyard insect conservation, considerations for plant selection and habitat design, and maintenance practices that encourage a healthy, balanced ecosystem.
Are you curious about animals from Australia or Butterflies? Maybe you want to learn more about dinosaurs or puppet-making. In each Curious Crafting session we will explore a new topic, read a book, and make a craft to take home!
Participants are welcome to drop-in anytime between 3:30-5:30 pm and stay as little or as long as you would like!

In this creative foray into persona poems, Walker immerses himself in the life of African American jockey Isaac Burns Murphy (1861–1896). The son of a slave, Murphy’s legendary career riveted the attention of the nation and established him as one of the greatest jockeys of all time.
