As part of the Central Kentucky Concert Band's celebration of its first fifty years, a saxophone trio, composed of CKCB members, will present an hour-long program at the Tates Creek Branch Library at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2026. The ensemble has a large repertoire of classical and traditional tunes, most of which were custom-arranged or composed specifically for this trio.

Cricut machines
Cricut machines can cut 12 x 24-inch vinyl, fabric, and paper products. 12 x 12-inch transfer tape, permanent vinyl, and heat transfer vinyl are available for purchase, or you can use your own materials free of charge. Speak with a staff member before use if you are bringing your own materials.
CNC router
Use this router for small scale wood milling. Please supply your own personal items for milling.
The machine can hold items with a maximum size of 8 x 8 x 3 inches. Speak with an Eastside Makerspace staff member to schedule an appointment to use the CNC router.

Tabletop kiln
Fire small pieces made of precious metal clay. Please supply your own personal materials for firing.
The machine can hold items with a maximum size of 2.5 x 1.5 inches. Speak with an Eastside Makerspace staff member to schedule an appointment to use the tabletop kiln.
Scanners
Scan and digitize documents, family photographs, and other print items. 32 GB flash drives are available for purchase, but you may need to bring additional storage depending on the size of the project.

In their native habitat of tropical and subtropical North and South America, these epiphytic plants will be found clinging to trunks and branches of other plants or anything else they can sit on including rocks and buildings.
