Visit us weekly for gardening tips and to get advice for your gardening problems! Master Gardeners will also provide free seeds (or plants, when available) and gardening education resources.

Are you interested in enhancing your Spanish speaking abilities? If so, we would like to invite you to our weekly group meeting. Our friendly group is open to everyone who wants to practice speaking Spanish in a supportive and welcoming environment. You will have the opportunity to meet new people who share your interest in the language and culture.

Live jazz the second Thursday of every month.

The weekly classes will be informal and guided by a moderator.  EVERYONE is welcome - ANY native language, ANY English level. We will learn how to recognize AI-generated media and spot possible deepfakes. Through challenges and discussions, we will explore ethical issues and how to be responsible digital citizens.

Are you curious about animals from Australia or Butterflies? Maybe you want to learn more about dinosaurs or puppet-making. In each Curious Crafting session we will explore a new topic, read a book, and make a craft to take home! 

This month's theme is American History. Pick any book you want that fits the theme and come discuss it with friends! Each month, we will discuss books in a different genre and everyone will talk about the book they chose to read. Spoilers may occur, so please be advised.

If you're not sure what to read, ask for a recommendation at the Beaumont Branch front desk.

A documentary exploring disability through the lens of faith, Mutual Belonging interweaves the story of Jay, an autistic gentleman in Lexington, with interviews from Dr. John Swinton, Dr. Armand Léon van Ommen, Dr. Brian Brock, and Dr. Grant Macaskill.

Dress for mess to celebrate July 4th and America's 250th Birthday with stories and (art) fireworks at the library! Recommended for families and children age 3 and up for painting activities.

Program intended for adults. Registration required as supplies are limited.

Join Northside staff and learn to make a simple, traditional Cathedral Windows quilt. Make one block each month and you will make a finished small quilt or throw by the end of 12 months! Fabric and sewing tools provided while supplies last. Prerequisites: you must already be able to thread a needle and hand sew a straight stitch and a slip stitch. Please register if you plan to attend.
