In this workshop, we’ll explore comic and manga art, going over character designs, poses, panel layouts, and simple storytelling techniques that make manga so exciting to read. Whether you’re a beginner or already love to draw, you’ll leave with your very own comic page and the basics to keep creating.

This two-day workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of music production and digital design. During Day 1 we will create their own beat using Logic Pro. On Day 2 we’ll design professional-style cover art using Canva to match their sound and artistic vision.

Are you interested in enhancing your Spanish speaking abilities? If so, we would like to invite you to our weekly group meeting. Our friendly group is open to everyone who wants to practice speaking Spanish in a supportive and welcoming environment. You will have the opportunity to meet new people who share your interest in the language and culture.

Visit us weekly for gardening tips and to get advice for your gardening problems! Master Gardeners will also provide free seeds (or plants, when available) and gardening education resources.

The weekly classes will be informal and guided by a moderator.  EVERYONE is welcome - ANY native language, ANY English level. This month's theme is Cyberpunk. Pick any book you want that fits the theme and come discuss it with friends! Each month, we will discuss books in a different genre and everyone will talk about the book they chose to read. Spoilers may occur, so please be advised.

If you're not sure what to read, ask for a recommendation at the Beaumont Branch front desk.

Take a step into the past and see how Kentucky has changed through the lens of the Old State Capitol. Engage in a hands-on activity and experience writing with a quill and ink. Take on the role of a historian and analyze artifacts from the Kentucky Historical Society.
