Our friendly group is open to everyone who wants to practice speaking Spanish in a supportive and welcoming environment. You will have the opportunity to meet new people who share your interest in the language and culture.

Join us at West Sixth Brewing for our monthly Cult Classics Book Club! This month, we will be discussing "The Last Unicorn" by Peter S. Beagle. Copies of the book are available at the previous month meeting, or the Central Library's front desk.

This month features Holden Bitner on cello and Paige Crain on piano performing work by Massenet, Boulanger, Poulenc, and Debussy. Classical Music Sundays presents live classical music the third Sunday of every month, September through May, with EKU music professor Bernardo Scarambone as emcee.

Based on historical records, secondary sources, and oral history interviews with quilters across Kentucky, Johnson discusses 19th century quilts made by black women living and working on slave plantations, traditional quilts made by African American women of the 20th century, as well as contemporary art quilts made by women of all cultural groups of the 21st century.

The weekly classes will be informal and guided by a moderator.  EVERYONE is welcome - ANY native language, ANY English level. Visit us weekly for gardening tips and to get advice for your gardening problems! Master Gardeners will also provide free seeds (or plants, when available) and gardening education resources.
