Are you interested in enhancing your Spanish speaking abilities? If so, we would like to invite you to our weekly group meeting. Our friendly group is open to everyone who wants to practice speaking Spanish in a supportive and welcoming environment. You will have the opportunity to meet new people who share your interest in the language and culture.

Participants are welcome to drop-in anytime between 3:30-5:30 pm and stay as little or as long as you would like!

Children 7 and under must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver.

The weekly classes will be informal and guided by a moderator.  EVERYONE is welcome - ANY native language, ANY English level. For the "Juneteenth Edition" we'll be cooking African cuisine! Members can choose a recipe from one of the cookbooks provided or use their own cookbook/recipe to contribute a dish. If it's your first time, you can simply come to taste, discuss, and enjoy!

Dive into the fundamentals of digital animation using Procreate for frame-by-frame illustration and After Effects for vector graphics, effects and keyframes. This class covers basic animation principles—like squash and stretch, anticipation, and timing—while helping students produce their own short animated clips.

Hands on activities will focus on making a 2D platformer but many concepts introduced apply to making 3D games as well. Students will also take away resources and next steps to continue developing games. No prior experience needed. Participants must attend both sessions. Ages 13+

Whether you’re a beginner or already love to draw, you’ll leave with your very own comic page and the basics to keep creating.

This two-day workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of music production and digital design. During Day 1 we will create their own beat using Logic Pro. On Day 2 we’ll design professional-style cover art using Canva to match their sound and artistic vision.

Visit us weekly for gardening tips and to get advice for your gardening problems! Master Gardeners will also provide free seeds (or plants, when available) and gardening education resources.

This month's theme is Cyberpunk. Pick any book you want that fits the theme and come discuss it with friends! Each month, we will discuss books in a different genre and everyone will talk about the book they chose to read. Spoilers may occur, so please be advised.

If you're not sure what to read, ask for a recommendation at the Beaumont Branch front desk.
