Watercolor painting club with a lesson each month suitable for beginners, dilettantes, and anyone who just wants to hang out and paint with us. We will be following a series of tutorials that start with the basics at our first meeting and build on those skills with each class that follows. This month's theme is Graphic Novels, Comics, and Manga! Pick any book you want that fits the theme and come discuss it with friends! Each month, we will discuss books in a different genre and everyone will talk about the book they chose to read. Spoilers may occur, so please be advised.

Join Northside staff and learn to make a simple, traditional Cathedral Windows quilt. Make one block each month and you will make a finished small quilt or throw by the end of 12 months! Fabric and sewing tools provided while supplies last. Prerequisites: you must already be able to thread a needle and hand sew a straight stitch and a slip stitch. Please register if you plan to attend.

Explore studio basics, from recording and mixing to sharing your tracks. Build performance skills and stage presence to showcase your art. Dive into the business side of music, including registering your songs with BMI and uploading them online.

Children 7 and under must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver. Please note that we will be building with the classic Lego bricks that contain small parts.

February is Black History Month, so we will celebrate with an "African American Cookbook Edition"! African American Cuisine, often called Soul Food, has a rich heritage with its roots in the rural South and the culinary innovations of traditional West African dishes. Members can choose a recipe from one of the African American cookbooks provided or use their own recipe to contribute a dish.

Enjoy Yang Qin music, make mooncakes and kites, and learn Chinese calligraphy and games. Come learn, play, and celebrate the Lunar New Year together! For families.

The Women is the story of one woman gone to war, but it shines a light on all women who put themselves in harm's way and whose sacrifice and commitment to their country has too often been forgotten.

Come join the Horror Murder Movie Club for another year of great movies!

For January, we start with the classic The Shining. Based on the book by Stephen King, directed by Stanley Kubrick and starring Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall.
