Lexington Public Library, PNC Bank, and KET host a national early childhood initiative from PBS Kids. Families can enjoy a craft station, a station where families work on a community service project, other fun activities, and a space where kids can meet and take photos with Daniel Tiger.
Discover the life of pioneering Black female jockey Cheryl White. We'll have a brief talk with Q&A and hands-on activities. For all ages. No registration required.
Every child who attends the program will receive a copy of The Jockey & Her Horse – a children’s book about Cheryl White, co-written by her brother.
This month, we'll read Katie Woo and Pedro Mysteries: The Mystery of the Stinky, Spooky Night by Fran Manushkin and do fun activities like Smell & Seek, Clue Sorting, and a Detective Craft.
Join us for an exciting introduction to Dungeons & Dragons and other roleplaying games! Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, come learn and connect with a like-minded community. We will guide you through the basics and provide you with resources to keep the fun going. Come and discover a world of adventure! For teens & up.
