Day 1 opens Friday with keynote speaker Patricia L. Hudson, author of Traces, a retelling of Daniel Boone's saga through the eyes of his wife, Rebecca, and their two oldest daughters, Susannah and Jemima.

This hands-on workshop explores the vibrant world of independent magazine publishing, guiding students through the process of concept development, layout design, printing, and distribution.

Join Northside staff and learn to make a simple, traditional Cathedral Windows quilt. Make one block each month and you will make a finished small quilt or throw by the end of 12 months! Fabric and sewing tools provided while supplies last. Prerequisites: you must already be able to thread a needle and hand sew a straight stitch and a slip stitch. Watercolor painting club with a Youtube lesson each month suitable for beginners, dilettantes, and anyone who just wants to hang out and paint with us. We will be following a series of tutorials that start with the basics at our first meeting and build on those skills with each class that follows. Are you interested in enhancing your Spanish speaking abilities? If so, we would like to invite you to our weekly group meeting. Our friendly group is open to everyone who wants to practice speaking Spanish in a supportive and welcoming environment. You will have the opportunity to meet new people who share your interest in the language and culture.
