Practice and play driving using an Oculus headset! Participants will play a driving simulator for a less stressful experience behind the wheel. Note: The selected game for this program is rated as Moderate.
Join Northside staff and learn to make a simple, traditional Cathedral Windows quilt. Make one block each month and you will make a finished small quilt or throw by the end of 12 months! Fabric and sewing tools provided while supplies last. Prerequisites: you must already be able to thread a needle and hand sew a straight stitch and a slip stitch. Please register if you plan to attend.
Bring your poetry, prose, or other short writing and join us every other month at our Open Mic Night series for an opportunity to share your work! Please keep performances to around 3-4 minutes.

If you love recommending books, this is for you! Kids who sign up to be a Kid Librarian get to create a display of their favorite reads—applications will be available at the event. We’ll also hear book talks from former Kid Librarians and learn how the Lexington Public Library processes its collections from our Collection Manager.
We'll celebrate the 250Lex Culinary Theme this month by creating dishes from the countries of Lexington's Sister Cities! Lexington's Sister Cities include County Kildare (Ireland), Deauville (France), New Market (England), and Shinhidaka (Japan). Members can choose a recipe from the cookbooks provided or use their own recipe to contribute a potluck dish.
Crafts include: perler bead designs, button-making, friendship bracelet making, and more!

Join Kristen Pearson of Glitter Green Thumb for a FREE gardening class that walks you through how to successfully harvest and preserve seeds from everyday garden food. Registration requested.
This class will take part over two days, Wednesday June 25th and Thursday June 26th from 2pm to 4pm each day. Attending both days is highly recommended.
This month, we'll be watching Mean Girls, and decorating mini canvases and easels!
