Celebrate Black History Month at LPL

You are invited to come test your spelling a-c-u-m-e-n at the Beaumont Library Adult Spelling Bee! If you are the last speller standing you will not only have incredible bragging rights, but a magnificent LPL-themed gift bag, credit at the LPL Book Cellar and a medal.

The United States Semiquincentennial, also called the Bisesquicentennial, the Sestercentennial, or the Quarter Millennium, will be the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. Come celebrate 250 years of freedom and listen to patriotic music played by a small ensemble.
