Are you interested in enhancing your Spanish speaking abilities? If so, we would like to invite you to our weekly group meeting. Our friendly group is open to everyone who wants to practice speaking Spanish in a supportive and welcoming environment. You will have the opportunity to meet new people who share your interest in the language and culture.
The weekly classes will be informal and guided by a moderator. EVERYONE is welcome - ANY native language, ANY English level. No registration needed. It's summer and that means vacation time, therefore we'll be celebrating with the Recipe Road Trip Edition of Bite Club! We'll be cooking our way across the USA with cookbooks focusing on Americana recipes, such as nostalgic dishes, bakes from different states, and diner food. Members can choose a recipe from one of the cookbooks provided or use their own cookbook/recipe to contribute a dish.

Based on historical records, secondary sources, and oral history interviews with quilters across Kentucky, Johnson discusses 19th century quilts made by black women living and working on slave plantations, traditional quilts made by African American women of the 20th century, as well as contemporary art quilts made by women of all cultural groups of the 21st century.
