Author Talk: Cross Country Cryptids: A Road Trip Guide to American Monsters

Erin McGuire-Thompson, author of Cross Country Cryptids: A Road Trip Guide to American Monsters, will join LPL in the Farish Theater to discuss some folklore and origins behind well-known (and obscure) cryptids, which cryptids have been reported in Kentucky, and why people are fascinated by cryptids and folklore in general. She will also introduce attendees to the concept of cryptid tourism. Registration is recommended but not required. This event is free and open to the public!
