December 21st is the Winter Solstice, so we'll be celebrating with the "Winter Solstice Feast Edition"! Members can choose a recipe from one of the comfort food themed cookbooks provided or use their own recipe to contribute a dish. If it's your first time, you can simply come to taste, discuss, and enjoy!

Lexington native Freddie Dunn (1930-2012) was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, veteran, East End resident, original Lyric Theatre employee, construction worker, Phoenix Hotel dining room mainstay, Dupree Catering bartending legend, and all-around city of Lexington factotum.

Join the experienced instructors from Kentucky Refugee Ministries for an informative and free citizenship class designed to assist individuals on their path to naturalization. This class is open to all participants who have held a Green Card for a minimum of 4 years and 9 months.

Practice your English speaking skills in a group meeting every week. In this casual class we will practice & improve your English. Intermediate English listening comprehension, reading practice & conversation with an emphasis on cultural topics. For adults. Registration not required. FALL CLASSES BEGIN AUGUST 11.

Join others in a relaxed setting to socialize and participate in interactive activities, games or crafts.

Beginning English classes are held twice weekly to help participants improve English language reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.  Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Are you interested in enhancing your Spanish speaking abilities? If so, we would like to invite you to our weekly group meeting. Our friendly group is open to everyone who wants to practice speaking Spanish in a supportive and welcoming environment. You will have the opportunity to meet new people who share your interest in the language and culture.

The weekly classes will be informal and guided by a moderator.  EVERYONE is welcome - ANY native language, ANY English level.
