Northside Branch

Put on something festive (if you’d like) and stop by the Northside Branch for a free family photo. Then you can use your photo to create a holiday card using our festive templates. No reservations needed, just drop in!

Beaumont Branch - Large Meeting Room
Meet and hang out with other Pokémon fans! Bring your cards to trade or play, or chill out with a craft. For ages 5 and up. No registration required.

Northside Branch - Classroom

Join Northside staff and learn to make a simple, traditional Cathedral Windows quilt. Make one block each month and you will make a finished small quilt or throw by the end of 12 months! Fabric and sewing tools provided while supplies last. Prerequisites: you must already be able to thread a needle and hand sew a straight stitch and a slip stitch. Please register if you plan to attend.

Northside Branch - Classroom

Watercolor painting club with a lesson each month suitable for beginners, dilettantes, and anyone who just wants to hang out and paint with us. We will be following a series of tutorials that start with the basics at our first meeting and build on those skills with each class that follows. Registration required so I will be able to purchase enough supplies for everyone.

Tates Creek Branch - Large Meeting Room

Move beyond sugary snacks and heavy dips to create stunning, delicious spreads that everyone will love. Get festive and nourish your body at this hands-on workshop with Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist, Nancy Hiner RD, LD, CDCES, MLDE, will show how to craft beautiful and healthy holiday appetizer trays.
