Program intended for adults. Registration required as supplies are limited.

The United States Semiquincentennial, also called the Bisesquicentennial, the Sestercentennial, or the Quarter Millennium, will be the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. Come celebrate 250 years of freedom and listen to patriotic music played by a small ensemble.

This two-day workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of music production and digital design. During Day 1 we will create their own beat using Logic Pro. On Day 2 we?ll design professional-style cover art using Canva to match their sound and artistic vision.

We'll have plenty of tape 'roads' connecting different parts of our interactive town. Bring your own toy car or borrow one of ours to drive our masking tape roads and explore different neighborhoods on your road trip adventure. Recommended for ages 2-5 with caregiver.

Visit us weekly for gardening tips and to get advice for your gardening problems! Master Gardeners will also provide free seeds (or plants, when available) and gardening education resources.

Join Northside staff and learn to make a simple, traditional Cathedral Windows quilt. Make one block each month and you will make a finished small quilt or throw by the end of 12 months! Fabric and sewing tools provided while supplies last. Prerequisites: you must already be able to thread a needle and hand sew a straight stitch and a slip stitch. Creating your own DIY gel air freshener is a good way to know what is in it and can make it any scent you want without it being overpowering. Peppermint and lemon are a great combination to help keep the air fresh and your nose clear. Air fresheners with essential oils are easy to make so you will be able to make quite a few in no time at all. All materials provided but are limited.

We will be following a series of tutorials that start with the basics at our first meeting and build on those skills with each class that follows. Registration required so I will be able to purchase enough supplies for everyone.
