The Elmer L. Foote Collection is a group of 190 lantern slides. They were created by Elmer L. Foote, a Cincinnati photographer and library staff member whose pictures appeared in the Cincinnati Commercial Tribune.
The collection is community responses from the Lexington History Museum exhibit “Our Fair City: The 1999 Lexington Fairness Ordinance” held at the Lexington Public Library’s Central Library Gallery from June 17 – July 19, 2019.
The item is a brief history of the settlement of Lexington and the creation of the Town Branch Trail.
