Many people enthusiastically plant in the spring but miss the opportunity to maximize their harvest with succession planting. We will cover which crops are best suited to fall production and the pitfalls of summer planting. Many crops actually perform better as a fall crop than in spring.

We will learn how to recognize AI-generated media and spot possible deepfakes. Through challenges and discussions, we will explore ethical issues and how to be responsible digital citizens.
We will explore how AI can support creativity by generating art and stories. We will create characters, experiment with different styles, and remix our ideas using AI tools. The session ends with sharing our creations and reflecting on the creative process.
Join Financial Advisor Chris Cantrell for an informational seminar covering the financial essentials every family needs to know: budgeting, getting out of debt, credit scores, taxes, retirement saving and financing major life decisions. Registration requested.
Hands on activities will focus on making a 2D platformer but many concepts introduced apply to making 3D games as well. Students will also take away resources and next steps to continue developing games. No prior experience needed. Participants must attend both sessions. Ages 13+
The Digital Studio provides people of all skill levels the equipment, software, and AI creative tools for filmmaking, photography and digital art, music making, and media preservation.

Several pieces of equipment require additional supplies such as PLA filament, vinyl, and metal backings. Some supplies are available for purchase in our learning spaces. Customers ages 13 and up who have signed the Experiential Learning Agreement and Equipment Use Policy, which is available to sign in-person at any of the four learning spaces, and live in Fayette County or a reciprocal county receive an $8 credit each month for material purchases. If you exceed this credit, you can still purchase additional supplies using credit, Mobile App Pay or Mobile Pay, or tapping to pay.

The Central Library's Parking Garage is available to our customers or anyone needing a parking space. There are 428 parking spots in the garage, 10 of which are handicapped or van accessible. The height clearance for garage entry is 13'1". The height clearance for parking access is 6'4".
Two hours of free parking is provided with a ticket validated inside the Central Library.
