The Kentucky Mountain Club was founded in 1929 as a social organization for residents of Lexington, Kentucky, who had been born or resided in the counties of eastern Kentucky.
Strange things begin to occur as a tiny California coastal town prepares to commemorate its centenary. Inanimate objects spring eerily to life; Rev. Malone stumbles upon a dark secret about the town's founding; radio announcer Stevie witnesses a mystical fire; and hitchhiker Elizabeth discovers the mutilated corpse of a fisherman.
Astrologist Hilary Cummins works as a personal assistant to the eccentric and mostly paralyzed pianist, Francis Ingram. When Ingram is killed, Cummins is plagued by a series of bizarre events attributed to the Ingram's disembodied left hand.
Starring Peter Lorre! Beast with Five Fingers is wonderfully weird, a blend of guignol, noir, expressionism and cheese.
