A documentary exploring disability through the lens of faith, Mutual Belonging interweaves the story of Jay, an autistic gentleman in Lexington, with interviews from Dr. John Swinton, Dr. Armand Léon van Ommen, Dr. Brian Brock, and Dr. Grant Macaskill.

Erin McGuire-Thompson, author of Cross Country Cryptids: A Road Trip Guide to American Monsters, will join us in the Farish Theater to discuss some folklore and origins behind some well-known (and some obscure) cryptids, which cryptids have been reported in Kentucky, and why people are fascinated by cryptids/folklore in general.

You will have the opportunity to meet new people who share your interest in the language and culture.
