UpfromSumdirt, aka Ronald W. Davis, is an autodidactic poet, visual artist, and designer from Louisville, Kentucky. He is the illustrator of A Is for Affrilachia and the NAACP Image Award–winning Perfect Black.

Beginners welcome! Cards will be provided, or bring your own deck. Registration required. For ages 11-13.

Participants will engage in interactive simulations, fingerprinting activities, and meet with a grad student from University of Kentucky!
