Participants will follow along with a VanGogh "Starry Night" inspired painting tutorial while chatting and hanging out! All materials provided. Ages 11+

Join Northside staff and learn to make a simple, traditional Cathedral Windows quilt. Make one block each month and you will make a finished small quilt or throw by the end of 12 months! Fabric and sewing tools provided while supplies last. Prerequisites: you must already be able to thread a needle and hand sew a straight stitch and a slip stitch. First, we'll learn about Henrietta Lacks and the ways in which she contributed to modern medical research. Then we'll do some research ourselves using chemistry and biology to extract DNA from strawberries! Dress for mess! Ages 12+

First, we'll learn about engineer Ruzena Bajcsy and her contributions to computer science and robotics. Then we'll test out some robots like Sphero Bots, Ozobots, and more!  Ages 12+
