Northside Branch

Practice your English speaking skills in a group meeting every week. In this casual class we will practice & improve your English. Intermediate English listening comprehension, reading practice & conversation with an emphasis on cultural topics. For adults. Registration not required. FALL CLASSES BEGIN AUGUST 4.

Learn all about bugs with hands-on activities. Recommended for ages 3-5 with caregiver. No registration required.

During Teacher Time, you will be able to use the Makerspace equipment to create resources for your classroom. Including the 24" laminator, 20" large format printer, 1" and 2.25" button makers, sublimation printer and Cricut.

Teacher Time is generously sponsored by LG&E and KU.

Teen and Adult makers join us for Open Studio in the Eastside Makerspace. You can use equipment like the 3D printer, Cricut, Button Maker and more. Or bring your project to work on in the space.

Come make some art in the afternoon! This process art program is for Kindergarten-5th grade. No registration is required.

Central Library - Kloiber Foundation STEAM Lab

Participants are welcome to drop in anytime during the program and stay as little or as long as they would like!

Children 7 and under must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver.

In this workshop we will share some cool tips and tricks for artists and also go over basic Procreate tools and functions to allow you to start making amazing art with ease!

Join local yoga instructor Chie Tanaka for a free chair yoga class! This class is aimed at beginners but all experience levels are welcome!

Watercolor painting club with a lesson each month suitable for beginners, dilettantes, and anyone who just wants to hang out and paint with us. We will be following a series of tutorials that start with the basics at our first meeting and build on those skills with each class that follows. Registration required so I will be able to purchase enough supplies for everyone.
