Kids can splash, pour, scoop, and experiment at a variety of water stations, from mini “splash zones” to pouring and sensory tables. Along the way, they’ll explore early science concepts while building motor skills and enjoying a refreshing summer activity.

Create solar bead bracelets, make colorful light catchers, and enjoy more sunny activities with our friends from Bluegrass Greensource. We’ll even make solar s’mores using the sun’s energy. Calling all adults! Join us for a relaxing hour as we follow along with a video and learn to paint. We meet every month on the last Monday of the month. All skill levels invited. Materials will be provided as supplies last. Registration Requested.

With National Nurses day being May 6th, Eastside will host a creative program where children can create their own stethoscopes, care for stuffed animals in a “Teddy Bear Clinic,” and explore a pretend doctor’s office. Along the way, they’ll learn about helping others, staying healthy, and the important role nurses play in our communities.

Are you curious about animals from Australia or Butterflies? Maybe you want to learn more about dinosaurs or puppet-making. In each Curious Crafting session we will explore a new topic, read a book, and make a craft to take home! 

Are you curious about how to create landscapes that support beneficial insects, including pollinators and natural pest predators? We will discuss the latest research and key principles in backyard insect conservation, considerations for plant selection and habitat design, and maintenance practices that encourage a healthy, balanced ecosystem.

Play Capture the Flag, Battle Royale, and more! After the library closes, the building will be a laser tag battleground. For ages 13+.

We will learn how to recognize AI-generated media and spot possible deepfakes. Through challenges and discussions, we will explore ethical issues and how to be responsible digital citizens.
