We will be following a series of tutorials that start with the basics at our first meeting and build on those skills with each class that follows. Adult class will focus on the Harlem Renaissance (1918–1937) This was a cultural movement that celebrated Black identity, creativity, and intellectual achievement, particularly in Harlem, New York. Black artists played a pivotal role in shaping the visual representation of this era, using their work to express cultural pride, challenge stereotypes, and celebrate African heritage.

Enjoy a 45-minute Creative Movement class exploring rhythm, locomotor, and non-locomotor movement as well as story-dancing. Open to 10 children ages 3 - 5. Presented by Bluegrass Youth Ballet. Wear comfortable clothes and socks.
