Intermediate English listening comprehension, reading practice & conversation with an emphasis on cultural topics. For adults. Registration is not required. FALL CLASSES BEGIN AUGUST 11.

Are you interested in enhancing your Spanish speaking abilities? If so, we would like to invite you to our weekly group meeting. Our friendly group is open to everyone who wants to practice speaking Spanish in a supportive and welcoming environment. The Youth Class will be for those 7 years of age and older. Participants will be given basic drawing and painting instructions. Then they will be able to create their own piece of artwork to take home.

Join the experienced instructors from Kentucky Refugee Ministries for an informative and free citizenship class designed to assist individuals on their path to naturalization. This class is open to all participants who have held a Green Card for a minimum of 4 years and 9 months.

Join Northside staff and learn to make a simple, traditional Cathedral Windows quilt. Make one block each month and you will make a finished small quilt or throw by the end of 12 months! Fabric and sewing tools provided while supplies last. Prerequisites: you must already be able to thread a needle and hand sew a straight stitch and a slip stitch. Enjoy a 45-minute Creative Movement class exploring rhythm, locomotor, and non-locomotor movement as well as story-dancing. Open to 10 children ages 3 - 5. Presented by Bluegrass Youth Ballet. Wear comfortable clothes and socks.

Performance features vibrant costumes, music, and energetic choreography, capturing the essence of the folk traditions.

Join us for a fun, hands-on musical adventure! In this workshop, kids ages nine and up will explore the exciting world of the orchestra and its instrument families — strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion.

Adult class will focus on the Harlem Renaissance (1918–1937) This was a cultural movement that celebrated Black identity, creativity, and intellectual achievement, particularly in Harlem, New York. Black artists played a pivotal role in shaping the visual representation of this era, using their work to express cultural pride, challenge stereotypes, and celebrate African heritage.
