Volunteer & In-Kind Needs

Volunteers Can:

  • Help students with Homework Help at Village and Northside libraries
  • Bring reading materials to homebound adults through the Book Buddies program
  • Sort and sell used books to support Library programming (Friends of the Library)
  • Teach digital and technical skills with Camp Digital classes
  • Restock Tiny Libraries with donated books

Our Mission

Lexington Public Library Foundation funds innovation within our public library system.  The Library's vision is for a community engaged in a lifetime of discovery, and private donations help Lexingtonians learn and play in dynamic new ways.
